Energy Vampires & the Sacred Art of Boundaries

We’ve all met them. The friend who leaves you drained after a “quick chat” The co-worker who dumps their chaos on your lap like it’s a group project. The human who calls only when they want something…..

These are your energy vampires. And unlike the sparkly movie kind, they don’t need fangs ~ they just siphon your spark with guilt & drama llama.

The tricky part? Most of them don’t even realise they’re doing it. Which is why learning boundaries isn’t just self-care ~ it’s survival.

Here’s the magic:

☆ Notice your body. If you feel heavy, tense, or flat after seeing someone, your energy’s been tapped.

☆ Say no (without the essay) “No” is a full sentence (well maybe ‘No, sorry’ lol)

☆ Limit your exposure. You don’t need to attend every drama you’re invited to.

☆ Recharge deliberately. Walk barefoot, write your mess out, dance it off ~ refill your own cup first ♡

Protecting your energy doesn’t make you selfish. It makes you sustainable. You can’t pour into your humans, your passions, or yourself if you’re running on empty.

So next time an energy vampire comes lurking, remember ~ you’re not a buffet.

You’re a whole universe bebs and your boundaries are the ‘no trespassing’ signs that keep space junk out ♡

That’s my cosmic TED talk, thanks for coming. Protect your sparkle my loves — the galaxy needs you ♡

Love Rain xx
