So, apparently, I’m now one of those humans with a blog (wtf, I know!)

Somewhere between raising five kids (who are now adulting in the big wide world), starting community projects, drinking far too much coffee and wrangling life in the rainforest, I decided the internet needed my rambles. You’re welcome.

A little about me? Well…..I answer to Rain, Lisa, Moll ~ honestly, a bit of everything. Names have followed me through different chapters of my life and I’ve worn them all. Rain was the one I claimed for myself at a turning point ~ not running away, but surviving.

These days? Call me whatever you like ~ just don’t call me before coffee…..or while I’m hiding from the washing pile ♡

So, here I am ~ an empty nester. The kids are out in the world doing their adulting thing and I’m tucked into the rainforest at night, woven into community by day. Life looks different now, but it’s far from quiet.

My squeeze (Wick, or Big Pea, if we’re being affectionate and gross 😝) and I didn’t exactly plan it, but somehow (maybe with a bit of divine intervention) we ended up co-running a grassroots youth space in Nimbin ~ yep, the counter-culture capital of Aus. It’s wild, it’s the up’s, downs and laughter all tangled together. But it’s ours. It’s home. And we’re here for it ♡

And me? I’m somewhere in the middle of it all. Writing, creating, loving, working, parenting, healing, laughing, crying, rinsing, repeating.

So yeah, that’s me, or at least a tiny slice of me. These rambles won’t be polished essays or perfect stories. They’ll just be… well, me.
