Some days it feels like the whole world’s on fire and our phones are the smoke.
The endless scroll, the noise, the outrage, the propaganda ~ all of it quietly seeping into our roots.
We say we’re “just checking in” but sometimes it feels more like being plugged into a collective panic machine.
What a world we live in.
I remember growing up with dirt bikes and creeks, building cubbies until sunset, not a care in the world. We were outside. We were free. Our minds had room to wander, to breathe, to just be kids ♡
No notifications. No opinions masquerading as facts. Just nature and our imaginations ♡
Now?
We’ve traded creek water for Wi-Fi and wonder for worry. We call it “staying informed” but sometimes it’s just drowning in misinformation, expectations, stress 😩
We have to tend to our minds the way we’d tend to a garden. Pull out the weeds of fear and comparison. Water the roots of calm. Give sunlight to happiness, reflection, curiosity ♡
Because if we don’t, someone else will plant their seeds there and not all of them are kind ones.
So maybe it’s time to step back from the noise. Turn off the feed. Touch grass (literally) Listen to your own thoughts again. Trust yourself ♡
Our minds weren’t built for constant input ~ they were built for connection, curiosity and creation ♡
The world may be loud, but you still get to choose what grows in your garden ♡
Because maybe, in times like these, the truest act of rebellion is the gardener who tends her crops ~ quietly, patiently ~ without the noise, without the rush, without the world demanding she hurry ♡
So… how’s your garden going?
Love your friendly green-thumb, Rain x
